Yes, most JLR software can be installed on a Windows laptop. We recommend a Windows 10 or 11 PC with at least 8GB RAM and an SSD for best performance. We also offer a Panasonic Toughbook CF-54 pre-configured for JLR diagnostics, which is ideal for workshop environments. Remote installation support is available with all purchases.

JLR SDD (Symptom Driven Diagnostics) covers pre-2017 vehicles including older Defender, Discovery, and Range Rover models. JLR Pathfinder is the newer system for 2017+ vehicles, supporting DoIP communication and newer modules. Many workshops require both tools to cover the full JLR range. We recommend the Software Bundle if you support both older and newer vehicles.
